I haven't been around here for too long, so most of you guys are probably not aware that my husband and I are trying to get into this whole 'writing' thing as a full-time career. We've got one completed sci-fi manuscript that we're currently shopping for, as well as another sci-fi series in various stages of planning. To help promote the work, we now have a website!

We are noobs when it comes to websites, so this thing is still very rough and very young, and we're looking for as much feedback as possible to make it better. I keep reading around 2:15 AM when I'm not that fit to comment, and I like what is up so far. I'm not one much for website design, so I can only comment on the writing.

I liked the description of the Crash Storm, something about how it was presented made it feel like a real danger. I have to say in general that it is very absorbing prose, definitely an easy read (if it was on paper I would say it is a page-turner, it makes me want to read further). I am not that into Sci-Fi myself, but if you get a book published, tell me the title and I'll get it.

The content is of course what's important and I like what's there. Though the new forums are dramatically different from the site - that was a bit of a shock. They'd probably be kind to tired eyes at 3AM

Xithyl - We kinda modeled the new forum after the blog template we chose, though we tried to keep the same blue/purple/lightning color scheme. If it's too jarring, there is a second template that you can switch to once you sign up.

After a few months of hibernation while Art and I were moving and changing jobs, the website is back up and moving if anyone is still checking it. The webvella will now continue to update regularly, as will the blog. Feel free to spread the word to anyone you think might be interested in it!

I showed it to someone at Edge of Night who is after something to read. They'll be having a look.
